Brentwood was incorporated as a city in 1969 and sits in Williamson County, directly bordering Nashville/Davidson County to the north and Franklin to the south. The city spans roughly 41.5 square miles. Maryland Farms, a major office and business park, was built on what was previously a horse farm and race track, and remains a hub for local employment.
