One of the fastest-growing cities in the state
Spring Hill was established in 1809 and is unusual among Williamson County communities in that it straddles two counties — Williamson and Maury. Its population has grown substantially over the past two decades, reaching an estimated 59,398 residents in 2024, and the U.S. Census Bureau has recognized it as the 4th fastest-growing city in Tennessee. The city was also the site of the Civil War's Battle of Spring Hill in November 1864.
